Blogging Titans Of Cp!

Hey guys,
I’m really pleased of my CPHistories. They are fun to write, and my feedback from them is that they are fun to read. Anyways, I always thought that The Watex Files would always be the most successful CPHistory. Last month you guys proved me wrong. “Fear The UMA: If You Dare” passed up the Watex Files, and even got some new visitors. And to believe it almost didn’t happen. I was going to use this months CPHistory theme instead, but realized that UMA fit better in May, because the Boiler Room Battle took place in May. I’m hoping this months is also a hit. This one may be harder because possibly CPHistoriy’s biggest fan, Tanuki I, isn’t really using his site Anyways, Enjoy!

A long time ago, there were no blogs. Very few knew how to take pictures. There are only 3 or 4 known pictures of the beta test party. But then, a new idea as introduced to Club Penguin. A blog! Because Club Penguin updates so much, well, you could post about it on a blog! The best part is…you would get famous! Many of you are probably just rolling your eyes now, saying “Yeah yeah, and then penguins like Watex and Chewy Pup got famous” But it started out different. Most penguin chose WordPress, and those who didn’t usually switched. But many blogs were really amateur, and you could find out more about the updates from the Club Penguin Blog. Blogs seemed like a stupid idea, until October came around. A year after Club Penguin was launched, blogs skyrocketed. And all because of 4 penguins. All because of Paintboy100 and Antras. He started a site, and decided that he would post updates. On time, and with all the details. That was all you needed back then. Of course, he had more. SECRETS! His site was huge. But one penguin couldn’t launch the Club Penguin blogging craze alone. His good friends, Kornareso and Dendo Guy, also has sites that were huge, and a penguin named Chewit Dude.

However, blogging back then was different. You see, it was as if those four sites were the only sites. They controlled the blogging industry. Very few other CP blogs were heard of. And the 4 were just fine with that. Everyone visited their sites, and they were famous and rare. Everyone was talking about them, and soon they were the highlights of the “rare” server, Mammoth. If someone was to say “Paintboy100 is at the Lighthouse Beacon” you wouldn’t even be able to get into the Beach, much less the lighthouse, even if he wasn’t there (Which he always wasn’t) But some people didn’t like that Paintboy100, Dendo Guy, Chewit Dude and Kornareso controlled Cp Blogs. Indeed, Paintboy above all got most of the insults.

But eventually, something began to happen. A new site, run by Watex, got popularity. It never moved up to the Top 5 sites at that time, but showed that sites other than those could get popularity. Nothing dented their fame until something began to happen. You know how Micheal Jackson sorta went crazy because of fame? Same thing happened with Paintboy. By this time, Watex’s site had passed almost all of them up, and Dendo Guy was losing hits. That was when Paintboy lost all the will to blog. He stopped showing off his rare clothes, usually wearing nothing, or a blue cape, and stopped approving comments. It gave an eerie look to his site. He had lost to Watex. Of course, at the same time, Chewit Dude disappeared, without a sign of why. His site was even suspended ages later, for no reason. Dendo and Kornareso carried on for a bit longer, then in time, Kornareso disappeared, and Dendo quit. The last remains of the Blogging Titans fell

None of the Blogging Titans were left. Instead, there were many famous penguins. Watex and Mimo777 now battle it out for top site, with new famous penguins with top sites like Toronto and Mohd. But maybe a good friend of mine is right. Its the famous penguins who are newbs. Some of them so wrapped up in fame, they can’t see ahead of them.

But in time, Dendo came back. Of course, his hits per day were minuscule, but he was back. The small stem of a plant poking up through the debris. As writing this, Chewit Dude just returned about a week ago. Its going to take an awful lot to restore their sites to the quality of their old ones. Who knows, maybe Paintboy100 may even return and re-invent blogging again. Maybe this time, it will be a new penguin, unheard of now, who will rise up and follow the work of Paintboy100 and Watex. We could sure use it. Just go to the Dock at Frozen. So many insults being thrown around its almost a wasteland. Ah, the sad story of Frozen is a story for another day (Possibly even a CPHistory) Who knows….

Rockhopper Returns!

Hey guys,
Today Rockhopper returned to Club Penguin. That means, of course, more awesome items! This time, I though that they were cool items, but….
…..They are all repeates or…Different Colorations……They aren’t terrible, but I would have liked to see more original items.

It still is a pretty cool catolog I love the Flamingo, and the Captains Coat is cool, but I like my brown one better. I need some filler before I post the Sports Catolog, so I’ll post some tips for finding RH

GUINEAPIG119′S RH FINDING GUIDE
Hey guys,
Are you trying to find Rockhopper? Who isn’t, then again. Anyways, if you need some help, here are tips:

• Don’t log out. It will take you to the homepage. Instead, use the Adress Bar to go directly to http://play.clubpenguin.com or http://play.clubpenguin.com/index_small_screen.htm (Type it in, or copy>paste it in)
• Check the servers constantly until you get an idea of how full the servers should be at what time of day. It could take a while to figure out, but beleive me, it will pay off. If one of the servers looks unaturally full, go there (If its not full) Check a few rooms. If it looks full, then log out. If it looks empty, then keep searching. If it looks really empty, yet it was 4 or 5 faces, then it is nearly guarenteed RH is there
• Rockhopper almost always goes on parades. He will start out in his ship, then head to the dock (He rarely stays long there), then to the town, which he usually leaves early because of crowds, but goes into buildings like the Dance Club and Coffee Shop, then Snow Forts, where he stays a while, then to the Pizza Parlor, then Forest And Cove, then to the Iceberg (where he stays a while), then he heads back to his ship. Check all those rooms, they are the only one he goes to.
• Check all the servers. Its a sweet victory to meet him in a non-chat servers, he has so few people crowding him. You might even be able to get a pic of Rockhopper without a crowd at all (Great for edits, heh heh)
• Also check where your buddies are. Many a time I have seen him because a buddy found him
• Don’t beleive everyone and what they say. Its least beleivable when they say he is in the town to someone asking ‘Where Is Rockhopper” I have never seen someone tell the truth about where he is
• In a crowded server, there may be a huge crowd at his ship. THIS DOES NOT MEAN HE IS THERE Its just people who think he is. He is almost NEVER actually there Last year I almost missied “The Simpsons Movie” because I thought he was actually in a huge crowd.
• Just a tip: Last year there was a huge “Parka Craze” because people thought he was there. It was almost always full, and always full to Non-members. When I got in, there was just huge crowds of people who thought he was there. He had been buggy the day before and spent most of the day in Parka. The crowds never died down, and it kept going the entire visit

SPORTS CATOLOG
Hey guys,
A new Sports Catolog came out today.

I don’t love the basketball stuff, but it does have a new idea to sports on CP. BALLS!

However, its really buggy The only ball with a dance is the Soccer Ball Maybe they will add more later. Anyways, when you dance with the Soccer Ball, it looks like you are moonwalking

Don’t even get me started on how funny it looks if you wear the soccer jersey too

Ahh! The Soccer Buggers are going to take over CP (Say, that sounds like “Soccer Boogers”. I wanted it to sound like “Those who use the glitch of the soccer ball)

There is a new backround, which I actually don’t like (I loved all the other ones they have made) Why wasn’t it the basketball court backround?

Wow. This post took almost as long as the Mission Steps post did to write. Anyways, overall, its a pretty good catolog. The best part of it was, though, a glitch I hope it never goes away….

New Newspaper+Mission 8!

Hey Guys,
Sorry I’m late on the mission steps. Its probably the most boring a CP Blogger has to do. Anyways, here goes nothing. First, to the newspaper.

The Earthquake wreckage is cleared from Club Penguin now, and there is an article in the paper about it:

Rockhopper returns tommorrow! I hope he doesn’t bring back my black pirate bandana… I’m hoping for the return of the pirate boots

You can see his ship through the Telescope now

The Events page is filled to the brim. Tons of cool new stuff. The only pity is that lots of stuff comes out on the 4th Of July, on which many people will be on holiday

Now to the mission…

MISSION 8
Ugg this is going to be boring. Oh well, people need help on the mission, and its my job to help them! Anyways, here goes nothing

Hey guys,
Mission 8 is out. The cool thing is, it only took 2 months. Waaay back in the day, it took about 5 months. Anyways, this mission is now about stopping the earthquakes, not catching Herbert, but still, it makes for a fun, but very tricky mission.

Anyways, here are the steps

MISSION 8 STEPS:
1.) Talk to G in the gadget room. He will tell you about an earthquake at the dock
2.) Pick up the proppellor Fedora to save time
3.) Go to the Dock. Herbert will drill up in a machine made to create holes below CP, causing Earthquakes
4.) Before Herbert drives off, his map of the tunnels will blow away. Klutzy will try to grab it, but ends up cutting it in half. Both halfes will blow off
5.) After you talk to Herbert, Klutzy will drop his lantern. It is vital to pick it up if you are a non-member. But if you are a member, and have the night-vision goggles, it is only optional to pick it up.
6.) Go back and tell G about Herberts evil plan.
7.) Go the town. You will see the map peices flying by. One gets stuck on the Night Club, the other flies on.
8.) Go into the Coffee Shop and talk to the employee there. Offer to pick up the cookies (I thought they were pennies at first, and they really do look like potatoes on CP)
9.) Click on the cookies, then drag them all into the pot.
10.) After you pick up the cookies, take the cookie the employee gives you and put it in your inventory
11.) Go back outside and give the sad puffle the Proppellor Fedora. Then, give him a cookie. He will fly up and free the peice of the map before flying away. Pick up the map peice and put it in your inventory
12. Talk to the penguins by the sunken Gift Shop.
13.) After you talk to the penguins, head to the Snow Forts to get the other peice of the map
14.) Click on the peice of the map stuck on the flag. It will fly over to the Plaza. Follow it there
15.) In the Plaza, it will land in a guy waiting for tickets to the plays Newspaper. Talk to him, and he will say he is hungry for pizza
16.) Go into the Pizza Parlor and get the pizza for the guy in line
17.) Trade the pizza for the newspaper
18.) Put the newspaper in your inventory. Then, take out the peice of the map and combine it with the other peice. Now you have a fully completed map!
19.) Now its time to prepare for saving the Gift Shop. Go to the Beach and take a net from outside the Lighthouse
20.) Enter the lighthouse, and talk to the penguin on the stage. Take the box of balloons after talking to him and put them in your inventory.
21.) Go to the purple penguin by the barrels of Cream Soda. After talking to him, take a Cream Soda Barrel. You can shake it a little just for fun, but you will need it later, so don’t blow it up
22.) Exit the Lighthouse and head to the Ski Village
23.) Enter the Sports Shop and take the Tent Pegs. Then, enter the HQ
24.) Go to the Gadget Room and click on the “Super Helium” air tank. It will tell you to ask G before taking it.
25.) After talking to G, pick it up and put it in your inventory. After getting it, pick up the Hammer from the rack by G, and inflate a balloon using the Super Helium
26.) Now you have all the supplies! Head to the dock and enter the tunnels
27.) Follow your maps direction (Changes every time). After the first tunnel, you will need to use your lantern/NVG (Night Vision Goggles)
28.) If you took the right direction every time, you should see the Gift Shop after the 6th tunnel. A pip is blocking the door, so use your Spy Wrench to unscrew it.
29.) Now shake up the barrel until it is shaking violently. Place it under the Gift Shop and it will blast up.
30.) RUSH up to the Town. Quickly put the balloon on the Gift Shop, and it will rise up. Put the Lighthouse Net below it, and use the Tent Pegs to hold it in place. Hammer the pegs down. After that, the Balloon will pop, and the Gift Shop will safely fall down onto the net
31.) The penguin will congratulate you. After he is done talking, head down into the Tunnels again. When you get to the Gift Shop, there will be a dark tunnel. Head down it and you will see Herbert’s Air Conditioner Drill.
32.) Use your wrench to unscrew the Master Gear. Take it and put it in your inventory.
33.) Head into the Boiler Room through the hole in the wall. You will see Herbert there with Klutzy, trying to ruin the Boiler. Talk to him. He will get angry and hit the pipes with his wrench. Suddently, the boiler will start vibrating. Herbert and Klutzy will try to escape, but will not be able to flee because you took out the Master Gear.
34.) You will get a call from G. He will ask you about the boiler, then tell you to fix it immedeatly. You must re-arrange the pipes until they connect from the top to the bottom. Its pretty easy, you can switch pieces no matter how far away they are from each other.
35.) After you fix it, G will call you again, and tell you to come to the HQ right away. He will be by the map, talk to him and give him the gear.
36.) Congrats! You just finished the mission.
37.) You will get a medal for your work, and a “Cool Gift” from G

Whew. That wasn’t so bad. It took over an hour to write, but hey! I actually had some fun writing it.

Vacation….

Hey guys,
Sorry this is a quick post. I am writing this seconds before we leave for vacation I am hoping that the new mission will not come out until I’m back, but I’m not so optimistic. Don’t stop coming, because Pokesav will (hopefully) still be posting, and if he can find it inside of him, maybe even post the mission (I know he can) I will be camping, so there is no chance I can bring a lap top with an iternet card, sadly. But it seems like it will be fun I only wish I could bring my computer, Anyways, I will be back Wednesday I will post the mission first thing when I come back if it comes out. Cya!

Earthquake Strikes C.P.

Hey Guys,
Today, Club Penguin had an emergency. AN EARTHQUAKE!! It struck the town, and buildings in the town. Something smells fishy. Err, to be more precise, something smells like Polar Bear with a side of crab.

It struck many rooms. 6 to be precise. I had an idea to show you guys all of them, but not make this a HUGE post Here are all the rooms (Click for a larger veiw)


The agent bulletin board has been updated for this. Its all starting to sew together. A huge hole in the ground, looking up from underground. A crab underground, then an earthquake, which occurs from underground But what will happen, we will find out in the mission!

THE NEW PIN:
The new pin is hidden at the Pizza Parlor, basicly cooking in the oven Just walk up and you can get it

Am I the only one who notices a that there are three ball pins, both of which look alike? Look:

Hmm….
A bit strange, but all of those pins are good, actually!

The New Iggy Catolog:
The New Igloo Catolog came out today!

Its pretty good. They repeated many items, but managed to make at least 1 page of good new items At least they made 2 1/2 pages of new items, which is pretty impressive. Anyways, some of the creative new items include a surf rug, and umbrella table

They also repeated some very cool items, one of them a bit rarer then the other. Anyways, I love both of them, although the picture now costs about 1,000 coins more I wonder why prices are rising so much.

(The Recycling Bin is one of my favorite igloo items. Now if only we could wear it on our heads, it would be my favorite )

(The Painting is awesome! Don’t forget the cheat though (Well, its not really a cheat) Press the up button, and the penguin points )

I’m not sure why I like it. Its just so random…..

New Newspaper+Mission Preveiw

Hey guys,
The New Newspaper came out today (Big Surprise!) It has a few surprises in it, but seems alot like last weeks for some reason…..  But anyways, to the news!

(Can’t wait to read what “ROFL Puffle” is about) The main article is the Water Party Reveiw, but it mainly just seemed like a description of it, I didn’t exactly see any reveiw…. But anyways, there is another secret message. Move your cursor over the picture with the crab, then click on it

A secret note like this should pop up:

CHANGE ALL THE PUFFLES TO RED. It should change, and a note from G should appear

So it was Klutzy. Spider880 was right! It must have something to do with the next mission. My guess? Remember the first mission preveiw? With the giant hole, that you could see the lighthouse through? I think Klutzy and Herbert are gonna blow a giant hole up from the Underground for their final plan. At the end they will probably be arrested or dissappear, never to return again,

Once Again, there is a page of Summer happenings. It looks like there is going to be a new multiplayer game, and an Aqua Grabber update. The Tuba will be returning also! I love my Tuba! The only thing that annoyed me is that once again, they are going to RE-RUN A PLAY!! GRRRR… I am so sick of that. Why should I even bother to buy the items the first time. They’re just going to come back! Exactly. I wish they would stop Re-Running plays. At least, the BLACK Superhero mask might return!

The Events page has lots of announced, well, events!

The Sports Catolog will be Basketball…Hmm…..
The Fireworks are going to start off earlier this year Thats a good thing, I might be out of town when they would have sarted last year (3rd-5th)

Crabby News+ Widget

Hey guys,
Guess what? On the first day of the Water Party, I was taking a picture of the pool. I went to work on the Water Party post, and when I went back to Club Penguin, I was still in the pool, and I saw something out of the back of my eye. Was it possible? A crab? It was carrying something. I just though I was imagining something, but then I saw a single comment that said they had seen a crab in the pool. I decided I was right, but it wasn’t until today when I figured that maybe it only appeared early in the morning (I posted the water party post very early in the morning) Or maybe every half hour, like the Yellow Puffle did. My buddy Spider880 came and told me it did, so we waited together for about 15 minutes. We played around alot, and mainly just played around when the crab appeared Photo 1 didn’t work out, but I had fun

But I became more serious. I realized if I ever wanted to post about this on my blog, I would have to be prepared. I played Cart Surfer until 5 minutes before the puffle appeared, then got ready for it to appear. Woo Hoo! I got it on Photo 2! Sure, its eyes look a bit strange, but at least I got a clear photo

But whats that? It also appears in the cave, apparently (Someone was yeling that in the town) So I went down there the next half hour. It didn’t appear. Then I realized it probably appears every 15 minutes. 15 Minutes later, it appeared. I got a good picture, but I was far away from it, so it wasn’t perfect, but still good

Anyways, if you want to find the crab, he appears on the hour (:00) and halfway through every hour (:30) IN THE POOL, and 15 Minutes into the hour (:15) and quarter to (:45) AT THE MINE Good luck finding him!!
THE CHEESE FACTOR:
Hey guys,
I’m sure all of you have had the time to check out the History Of The Water Party video, but did you notice the mistake in it? Thats right, Club Penguin made a huge mistake in it! Remember way back in October (Its okay if you don’t), when Club Penguin got rid of the normal smiley face and instead replaced it with what I call “CHEESE Face!”, the current smiley? Well, in the video, there is a penguin standing by the hose at the Dock, saying The CHEESE Face! by the hose.

That face came in October!, and the party which that would have taken place during was in July! Ha Ha Ha Ha! Big mistake!

WATER PARTY!

Hey guys,
As you know, the Water Party started today! Last year, it was one of my favorite parties. This year, its even better! They basically took the best elements of the two other Summer parties last year and combined them into one! Twice in a row, Club Penguin has smashed it!!! Check out the party:

What so speical about it, you ask? Actually, alot! Club Penguin outdid itself with speical features. For example, some rooms are just plain. Well guess what?!? In those rooms, you can spray stuff with a giant hose!!!

And a reprise of last years ever popular Water Balloons!

The tipping Water Bucket is back and better than ever!!

And last but not least, the Ice Rink was turned into a pool for the Water Party again!!!

All these awesome speical features…..
Is the party that great? Pretty much…….

Actually, I really like this party’s free items. Sure, they brought back most of them, but the free items go perfectly with the party!! They make nice free items for the summer.

(One of the more Heart-wrenching repeats ever. I love the item, but I ‘m kinda sad it came back. Oh well, think of all the great times new players will have with it….I feel better now )

In other news, there is a new play out! “The Penguins That Time Forgot”

I don’t love it, but its decent. Better than most, but not as good as “Quest For The Golden Puffle”….

I did love the “Calvin & Hobbes” referance, though

New Newspaper+Mission Preveiw+Pokesav’s Rough Draft

Hey guys!
I got out of school yesterday! Woo hoo! Anyways, that means more time to work on my site. I have decided that the “Fun Stuff” page will close down Monday, then re-open in Early July. It will be hard work, and Fun Stuff will be closed for a long time, so go and try your knowledge before it closes I will be choosing 3 penguins to test and reveiw the new system of Fun Stuff, two of them will be admins (Kodiak and Pokesav) and one will be chosen. I will have more info on that coming soon…… NOW TO THE NEWS

The new newspaper came out today. It is actually full of events!

The Water Party is tommorrow. I guess we won’t be expecting a flood

Things are looking good for the return of the Water Balloon, though

The new play looks like it will be good! Its called “The Penguins That Time Forgot”, and is a time travel adventure to ancient penguin times,
